Our R&D department turned this question around to discover why an organisation wouldn’t buy an AED; assuming that most employers would like to be socially responsible and potentially save lives, what was stopping them having an AED in their business?

• Due to our patented DOC defibrillator - you will be connected to a help desk operator who will confirm that it is a real emergency situation not a false alert. They are trained to deal with such situations giving support to the person who is trying to assist the victim in a stressful situation. They’ll also call the emergency services and direct them to your GPS location so you can concentrate on helping the person suffering from the cardiac arrest.
• Due to our patented technology - the DOC is remotely monitored and various aspects are checked so you have confidence that if there is an alert and there is an issue with the DOC, our technical department will proactively visit and make sure the device is fully operational. We also chose the Philips HS1 due to its excellent reputation for quality and reliability. DOC’s operations monitor when the electrodes/ batteries are due to be changed and will proactively call you to arrange a visit to complete the vital maintenance. You therefore can have confidence that in an emergency, when you need it most, DOC will work.
• Due to the unique way we offer our solution - the responsibility for the DOC working as it should lies with DOC, Philips and Allianz, providing the DOC is used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement and its guidelines.
